Filling My Cup: A Journey Through Quilting, Grief, and Creativity
Hi everyone, and welcome to my little corner of the internet! I’m a 30-year-old wife, mother, and small business owner who has reignited my love and passion with quilting. What started as a creative hobby has transformed into something so much deeper for me—quilting has become my outlet and therapy, helping me navigate some of the hardest moments of my life.
Over the last few years, I’ve experienced the heartache of losing several close family members, and through that grief, I’ve learned how important it is to "fill your own cup." Taking time to nurture my own well-being has allowed me to continue being present for the people I love. And quilting is how I’ve been filling my cup.
This blog is dedicated to sharing that journey. I’ll be diving into quilting techniques, offering tips and tricks, and showing how this craft has helped me heal. It’s not just about making beautiful quilts—although that’s definitely part of it—it’s about creating something that brings peace, joy, and even laughter along the way.
So, join me on this wild ride as I stitch through life, creativity, and healing, one quilt at a time. Whether you're a seasoned quilter or just curious, I hope this space becomes a source of inspiration, comfort, and fun for you too!
Love Tessa!
